Exciting progress despite more rains. We now have a floor and rooms! Make sure to see Trav's photos from the end of the trip.

I guess I found out about this project a month too late. But after reading everything about it I will have to say that I am speechless. It is such a noble project and you guys obviously did a great job on practically everything (materials, design, and construction). Congratulations on a job well done!
How was it living in Auroville? Pondicherry is one of my favorite cities in India and I was devastated when I found out about how hard it was hit by tsunami.

Well, I hope your stay in India was worth while=)

!!!

Speechless. . . After I got back from Costa Rica, having participated in the construction of 3 houses - the tsunami struck. I gave a short presentation to the now 3rd year class on coop alternatives. I sincerely, but also somewhat flippantly suggested that students go and help out there rather than donate. . . And then I get my Architecture for Humanity update email (which I just read today - applying to grad school is a part time job) - and you've gone one better! Congraduations. This further inspires me. Keep in touch. It is folks like you that I want to stay in contact with. My email is sfgray@hotmail.com (or my office email is sgray@chankrieger.com).

All I can say is - wow! and yeah!!

Way to go! I am so proud of both of you! I am so glad we are able to watch the progress!! It is so gratifying to know there are people willing to make the sacrifice to help our fellow human beings!
God Bless you both!

Am I the only one checking 4x a week for the promised updates?

Well, I guess I am the only one. Here it is a week later and as of 1/1/06 there have been no more comments.
Wish this web site had been built to measure the hits.
