Mason For Hire
I was chatting with the workers yesterday and they asked me how many Rupees a load of bricks costs in America. I had to admit I couldn't even venture a guess. The next question was, 'How much for a mason's wages?''Hmm...maybe $10 --'
'$10?' they repeated with wide eyes.
' --an hour,' I finished. Their jaws dropped: they are paid $3.00 a day. When they finished laughing they quickly asked, 'You need a mason?'

I think you could safely double that Lauren. But you could also say how much dinner would cost to put it into perspective!!!
It is amazing the difference in value of things.
How much longer will it take them to finish the building after you all leave? I am so impressed with all you have accomplished in the realtively short time you have been there especially considering all the factors involved!
