Rolling.
Life is gratifying these days. Last week at this time, we were wallowing in the disappointment of a freak rainstorm that left us hut-bound for days; fast-forward to this week, and work is being accomplished at breakneck speed. We now have a miniature army working with us to complete multiple tasks at once: the bar bender finishing the assembly of the steel reinforcing for the columns, the grounds crew moving mountains of sand and granite chips into the excavated holes, the masons mixing concrete to bind the foundations, and the whole team chipping in to unload delivery after delivery of roof tiles and bricks. Tomorrow we plan to finally do some work above ground level, when we turn the steel columns upright. Cheers to progress.
